I used some claro walnut and just a few lathe accessories to make this beautiful xman ornament. You can make your own for gifts, craft fairs, or your own christmas tree. This is the 6th and final day of my 6 Days of Beginner Woodturning Projects. If you’ve wanted to add lathe work into your woodworking this is a great place to start. I found a lost tool at the antique shop. It had a tag. “Bracket” The poor little thing had been mismarked. Dealers usually have a specialty. They collect and sell Hummels, knitting needles, furniture, and sometimes they have tools. They don’t always know that they are tools though.
When that happens it’s a great day to be hunting rust.
I also stack up a few future jobs. Idle hands are the devils playground. Get thee behind me Satan! 🙂
